National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)

NAHB is a Washington, D.C. based trade association whose mission is to enhance the climate for the housing and building industry. Chief among NAHB’s goals is providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing. As “the voice of America’s housing industry,” NAHB helps promote policies that will keep housing a national priority.

Remodelers Council™

Founded in 1982, the Remodelers Council™ of the National Association of Home Builders represents and serves the interests of more than 14,000 remodeling industry members.

National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA)

The NKBA is an international non-profit organization that serves and represents the firms and individuals involved in all aspects of the residential kitchen and bathroom industry.

National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)

The NARI has an inclusive, encompassing purpose: to establish and maintain a firm commitment to developing and sustaining programs that expand and unite the remodeling industry; to ensure the industry’s growth and security; to encourage ethical conduct, sound business practices and professionalism in the remodeling industry; and to present NARI as the recognized authority in the remodeling industry.

Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)

The CAPS designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.

Better Business Bureau (BBB)

The BBB was founded in 1912 and is today supported by hundreds of thousands of local business members nationwide. It is dedicated to fostering fair and honest relationships between businesses and consumers, instilling consumer confidence and contributing to an ethical business environment.
